You get what you pay for.

2024 was our first season tapping more than 2 trees, or filtering our sap. Best advice I got was to get several filters because one goes through them. Boy howdy. The filters clog with niter very quickly at the finishing stage. You will find yourself reaching for a filter at a moment when one isn't cleaned out. You will be washing and hanging them often. Washing machine removes more niter than spraying in the sink.
I bought these, and two less expensive imported sets from you know who. They all have thin liners and a thicker finish filter that supports the assembly. They all work as filters. They all say that they hold a quart. The imported quart is more like 500cc than the American made liter. One set of the imported filters was so fragile that three pint batches destroyed both thin filters. They tore spraying them out in the sink. Season over, filters laundered for storage, the ones that got the most use are also the only ones that look like they will last for all of next season. I will have more filters for next year, and they won't be imported. It seems that my filter cost per set will be about the same for these as for the better imported ones...whichever those are. While I am not averse to exploring other quality options, I know that these out work and outlast anything else I have found so far.

It is exactly what was described. Very good looking set if filters. Is finer then what I currently use. it should work as expected, will be trying them soon!
